Today, we’re going to talk about a patient who couldn’t open their mouth and had clicking sounds in their jaw, and how we successfully treated their jaw joint pain.
My right jaw joint wouldn’t open starting Saturday. It’s better now, but it still hurts when I try to open it. There’s a clicking sound when I chew, and yesterday I couldn’t open my mouth at all. This has been happening on and off for a few months, but it wasn’t too bad, so I ignored it. But since Saturday, it’s been painful. If I press next to my ear and then try to open my mouth, it opens.
